- You almost never need to search. Recent and Documents between them cover nearly everything.
- Recent is a shortcut that forgets. The folder is where the letter actually lives.

Open Documents on your own machine and sort by date. Everything you have written is there, newest first. Most people have never looked, and are surprised by how findable it all is.
