Know what blocking does
Block a number, and know exactly what the other person can tell.
Blocking a number stops its calls and messages from reaching you. Whatever it sends goes nowhere.
The other side is never told. To them it looks as though you never answered.
Key points
- Blocking stops that number’s calls and messages from reaching you
- The other person is not told, and you can unblock at any time
What to remember
- Never replying matters as much as blocking.
- Blocking is quiet, and it is undoable.
Try this
If a junk text is on your phone now, press the number at the top and look for Block. Forwarding it to 7726 reports it.
