A voice note is a small recording sent inside a conversation. Twenty seconds of talking carries about four sentences of typing, and it sounds like you.

- Record a short message instead of typing one out
- Throw a recording away mid-sentence, with nothing sent
- Hear it back yourself before anybody else does
- Speed up a long one, or have the phone write it out for you
What to remember
- Record, stop, listen, send. The listening step is the one that makes it comfortable.
- Recording is not sending. There is always a trash button, and using it costs nothing.
- Speed it up, jump back fifteen seconds, or have the phone write it out. All three are one press.
Try this
