Make a computer bigger, and put it back
Set the writing on a computer to a size you can read, and undo it in ten seconds if you go too far.
The fear that stops people sliding is a good one: if the writing is too big to read the settings, how do you undo it?
The settings never move. Display & Brightness, then Text Size — the same two presses, in the same order, whatever size the writing is. Bigger writing means more scrolling to reach them, and nothing else.
If you went the longer way round, the way back is the three presses that got you there. Both controls move in either direction.

- On a computer the setting sits under Accessibility, and it needs an Apply press at the end before anything changes.
