Getting the text to a size that does not tire you
Make the words on your screen bigger everywhere at once.
Every phone and computer ships with one text size chosen by a stranger. It is not a verdict on your eyes.
There is a single setting that raises the size of words in most apps at once. You do not change it app by app. You change it in Settings, and Mail, Messages, and Notes all follow along.
Bigger text means fewer words fit on a screen, so you scroll a little more. That trade is usually worth it. If a menu starts looking crowded, step the size back down one notch and live there.
On a computer the same idea has a different name. You may see Display scaling, or Zoom, or Make text bigger. Same purpose: comfort, not correction.
