Saving a page so you can find it again

Bookmark a page and open it again without searching.

A bookmark is your browser remembering a page for you. Some browsers call them favorites. They are the same thing.

You save one by pressing the star at the right end of the address bar. The browser stores the address under a name you choose.

Later you open your bookmarks list and press the name. The page loads straight away, with no searching and no typing.

This matters most for the handful of pages you use every week. Your bank, your library, your doctor, your utility bill.
