Leave a page that argues
Get out of a page that asks “are you sure” every time you press Back.
Some pages throw up a box every time you press Back, or fill the screen so the browser seems gone.
It is still one page inside one tab. Closing the tab ends all of it.
Key points
- A page that blocks Back is still one page inside one tab
- Closing the tab, or the whole browser, always works
What to remember
- The tab is the container. Close it and the page has nothing left.
- A page has no hold on the browser around it.
Try this
Practice on any ordinary page: the small cross on the tab, or Ctrl and W together.
