Tell the three buttons apart
Go back, go home, and return to what you had open a moment ago.
Along the bottom of an Android phone sit three controls: back one page, home, and a square showing everything you have open.
Newer phones replace them with movements: back is a swipe in from either edge, home a swipe up.
