Find something you downloaded
Find any file the browser has fetched, minutes or months later.
Anything you download goes to a folder called Downloads, unless you chose somewhere else. Every browser on Windows uses it.
Nothing is hidden. The file is on this computer, in a folder with a name.
Key points
- Downloads is the folder every browser saves to unless told otherwise
- Sorting by date puts your newest download at the top
What to remember
- Downloaded means a copy is here, on this machine.
- Downloaded means a copy is on this computer.
