Write down what you changed
Get back to where you started, however many things you try.
When something stops working, write down every change you make, in the order you make them.
It gives you a way back, and gives a helper the one clue nothing else provides.
Key points
- Write down each change as you make it, with the time beside it
- The list is how you get back to where you started
What to remember
- Undoing is only possible if you know what you did.
- A written change is a change you can undo.
Try this
Keep a notepad by the computer. Next time you change a setting, write one line.
