Say what a cell is
Find any box on a spreadsheet by its address and put something in it.
A spreadsheet is a grid of boxes. Each box is a cell, and its address is the letter of its column followed by the number of its row.
B4 means second column across, fourth row down. Everything else refers to it by that name.
Key points
- A cell is one box on the grid of a spreadsheet
- Its address is the column letter followed by the row number
What to remember
